[EyeBeam] How-to Set up you VoIP SIP accounts on your eyeBeam Softphone

In previous posts,I have mentioned configuring Google Voice’s SIP accounts on Eyebeam to make direct calls out. And some readers of this blog has left comments inquiring about how to set up SIP accounts on  Eyebeam softphone. And today, I want to make a small tutorial about how to configuring SIP accounts on Sipclient like Eyebeam.

EyeBeam is an upgraded version of X-Lite, which includes the g.729 codec required for the O-Tel network. So just follow this detailed post and you will understand this how-to easily.You can download EyeBeam here.

Assuming the program is installed and launched, continue with the configuration as follows:

Open eyeBeam SIP Account Settings menu (right click);

Click on “Add” to add your SIP account and configure your SIP account settings as per the image below, replacing your username and password with the ones provided by SIP service provider. You only need to populate info on the “Account” Tab, leaving the remaining tabs as-is. (Also set your display name as per your own requirements)

You are ready to make and receive calls with EyeBeam.

Please be aware that this instructions are also applicable for other clients . Most SIP client use the same terminologies for these fields. As always, if you have any questions about any step or if you are not able to get this running, feel free to drop a line and I will try my best to assist you.

    [ eyebeam = 10 x X-Lite ]
    it’s wonderful program , with 10 working DIDs. at the same time
    it’s the exact solve for who have multible DIDs. as i am

    but the program not free , you must have “serial number” for working

    i have old version with the serial & working good
    if you have recent version of this wonderful program please send me with serial on my e-mail

    Hi i have eyebeam for past 1 year but now it is not working please send me any user id password to open new account it showing disabled

      Since Eyebeam is a softphone, it does not need any username and password. So I guess you might say activation code, here are three series number for you

    i installed with registration but on the Screen it prompt No SIP account are enabled…can anyone help me with this…how should i enable it?

      Hi.Tabrez,Cause’ Eyebeam is just a softphone. You need have a sip account which can be configured on Eyebeam to make calls. The SIP account works like a SIM card, and softphone works like a phone. You need both SIM card and mobile phone so as to make calls.
